What's on the TV? It's a question we all ask. Normally when we ask this question we look at a TV schedule either on paper or electronically. But how are these schedules created?
When creating a TV schedule many factors will affect the schedulers decision. Factors that can affect a schedulers decision are things like viewing figures, advertising yields and programme length.
The activities developed in this resource places the pupils in the position of the scheduler. The idea is that they need to design and build their schedule within the constraints given. The schedulers then need to present their schedule to the TV controller (teacher) who will decide which schedule will be aired.
